Day 29 - September 2, 2018
"Brace yourself to the new beginning awaiting you."
Right here, on the very edge of our SEA Teacher program, it is very hard to simply go on and continue living far from here. It was agreat experience because I can really say that learned so much with the things i did and people I met. I was not in this one-month stay to teach, but I was also there to learn. As we get out of Thailand and go back to our country, I feel that somehow I have become a better version of me. I will now use these new features I got in pursuing my dreams to become a great teacher.
Excess Baggage :(
I started finalizing my things early in the morning. I fixed my things already the nigth before but I still was anxious about my baggage limit. I bought a little more stuff than I used to, and brought many clothes from home. I reopened my baggage again and sorted my things once more. Sadly, I had to leave some clothes and stuff with our Thai Buddies so I won't have to pay extra charges.
See you again, not goodbye, Indonesian and Thai Friends
Holding back our tears, we hugged for one last time (for now) before getting on the van that will take us to Phuket. I will miss NSTRU, our friends, the lecturers in Satit, our room, my bed, the cafeteria, night market, the roads, and many more. All these things I would like to keep in my memories.
Hello again, Phuket!
The ride was really long from Nakhon Si Thammarat to Phuket. Halfway, we stopped to eat late lunch. We visited a market and bought food that we would bring in the picnic by the seashore. The view was breath-taking. We could see many families eating lunch together, this made me miss my own family that I would be seeing again soon.
Arriving in the hotel, we settled our things first then planned to go outside. We bought mozzarella balls, one of our most favorite snacks
in the market every night and nom yen, my favorite Thai milk tea. It is so sad that it will be my last ones here in Thailand, for now, because I promised myself to go back for those next time!
