Day 30 - September 3, 2018
"So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee."
William Shakespeare
As much as I want to keep all of these experiences in my brain forever, our memories fade, whether we like it or not. That is the reason why I exerted so much effort in creating this memory museum. I wanted to preserve the memories I treasure all throughout the SEA Teacher Project. It contains brief descriptions of the project itself, the university where I stayed, the places we've been, the things we did and many more. Yes, this may merely be a "blog" for others, but for me, I call it my "Online Memory Museum".
Phuket Airport
We woke up before dawn to go to the airport. Ms. Sutawan Chaisang, from the International Relations Department of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University came with us. Entering the airport was very hard because I am not sure when will I be back, but we had to because we have to face the reality waiting us back home.
Petronas Twin Towers
Since we had more than 7 hours waiting time for our next flight from Kuala Lumpur to the Philippines, we decided to go out of the Kuala Lumpur Airport 2. It was our first time to visit Malaysia, but we watched different vlogs and read some tips on how to go to Petronas Twin Towers from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Here is a brief tip on how we did it within our layover time.
Back home
Back home I ate in the only Filipino fast food open in the airport. For the first time in a long time I was able to use Philippine Peso again. It got mixed up with the petty coins I still have from Malaysia and Thailand but I planned to sort them out next time. At that time all I could think of is that I am back to my real home.
We did not report in our classes on September 4th, but we were welcomed by our classmates and professors on the 5th of September. It was such a great experience I will bring throughout my life. With the help of this Online Museum I made, I could share the countless stories I got to tell to my friends in the Philippines.
